Riser Top This is the top of a riser. You can see that the wood deck stops short of the vertex so that there will be space to attach the angle bracket. |
Center Bolt (and spacer) When I cut my risers, I didn't calculate their height correctly. They were a couple of inches too long. So, I ended up needing to raise the level of the center where the radial deck support struts meet by the same 2". I used a scrap of 3/4" conduit and a few washers to create a spacer of just the right height. |
