I teach woodworking classes and maintain tools at Ace Makerspace in Oakland, CA. I also teach woodworking classes at MacBeath Hardwood in Berkeley. I operate a fence business where I work with wood almost daily.
Training
I offer private, one-on-one or group lessons about any major power tools, including:

I can help you using your own tools in your own shop. I’m an experienced woodworking teacher. I teach both experienced woodworkers as well as complete beginners. Kids under 16 need an adult present.
Pricing for up to five people is $100 for the first hour, $80/hour after that. If you would like a class with more that five people please contact me for more information and a price for the event you have in mind.
Tool Service
I offer many kinds of tool maintenance and minor repair services:

- Blade changes on most tools
- Replace electrical plug
- Bandsaw tuneup
- Miter saw tuneup
I don’t generally repair broken tools. Repairs are limited – mostly I can perform provide training on maintenance and tuning of your tools.
