After many attempts and fails at finding a good handyman, I finally found an excellent one.
His name is Howard Cohen and based on my experiences with him thus far, I am very pleased with this gentleman. His rate of $40.00 per hour is reasonable and he does great work.
Twice recently, I had him do some carpentry etc. at my home I was very pleased with his skills, his creativity, his professionalism and with his being fair with his billing practices i.e. he billed for time worked only and he did not drag the job just to be able to overcharge. Both times he did what he was hired to do, cleaned up, packed his tools up and was gone.
As I said before, I was very pleased with his work and per his business card which I attached, he has a wide variety of skills. Finally, I found him to be reliable and found him to be an effective communicator from the point of view of he effectively communicated everything from when he was going to arrive, to the approximate time each job would take to complete to any issues that came up with the job. For those of you who are looking for a handyman, check him out.

Howard came over and did a great job. He fixed a dishwasher draining issue that no one else was able to figure out. Did some electrical work and will have him come back to do more electrical work. Gave excellent advice on simple solutions instead of paying a lot of money to fix. Howard is a great guy, very personable. I highly recommend him.
